Becoming an ACHE Student Associate is a great way to demonstrate your commitment to your career and lifelong learning. If you are enrolled as a student in a healthcare administration program, you may be eligible to become a Student Associate.

A Student Associate membership provides opportunities for educational growth and professional networking. ACHE of Greater Ohio offers a variety of educational programs, networking opportunities, and special events throughout the calendar year in all regions of Central and Southern Ohio. The educational events provide students with an opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals, including C-Suite Executives, from healthcare facilities all over Ohio.

In this industry, who you know can make a huge difference in charting your career path. The professional networking available through ACHE of Greater Ohio can help you find a mentor and lead to job opportunities. Networking is especially important to finding success in the healthcare industry, as most healthcare jobs are filled through known or referred contacts in the industry.

To be eligible for Student Associate status you must

Be enrolled full-time or part-time in an undergraduate or graduate program in health services administration or related administrative field that leads to a bachelor's degree or higher.

Be enrolled in a healthcare management program where the program or college holds at least a regional accreditation.

Expect to graduate more than 60 days from the date of application.

Note: Student associate status is limited to five years. Student Associate tenure does not count toward the three year tenure requirement to become a Fellow of ACHE (FACHE).

Along with your application, provide ACHE with one (1) official school document from the following list:

  1. Class Schedule
  2. Official or Unofficial Transcripts
  3. Enrollment Verification from Registrar
  4. Enrollment Verification from the National Student Clearinghouse

If you are currently a Fellow of ACHE (FACHE) and are changing your status to Student Associate, you will no longer be able to use your credential.


ACHE Dues

  • $75 annually

Note: Your dues will be prorated depending on the date you join:
