The American College of Healthcare Executives of Greater Ohio is excited to welcome Amy as the Chapter's new Marketing Chair!

Amy's extensive experience, focus on leadership and passion for innovation will be the force driving the ACHEGO mission and expanding our footprint. She is dedicated to helping early careerists develop crucial leadership skills and stand out in this dynamic healthcare landscape, while also providing mid- and senior-level careerists opportunities to give back to the profession.

Outside her service to ACHE, from 2017-2019, Ms. Ware served as a strategic advisor for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC), leading planning efforts for cancer, transplant, surgery, and faculty-focused initiatives. Ms. Ware also served as the patient advocate and quality improvement manager from 2013-2017 at The Ohio State University.

Currently, Ms. Ware serves on the board of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, Franklin University Health Sciences and the Center for Research, Education and Transdisciplinary Exploration at Ohio State. She is an active member of the Association of Academic Surgery Administrators and on the national planning committee for the Association of Cancer Executives.

Ms. Ware received a master’s degree in healthcare administration, a master’s degree in education, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from The Ohio State University.

In her free time, Ms. Ware enjoys running, yoga, listening to books on Audible, and playing superheroes with her 4 year old son.
