Amy Stockman is Vice President, Hospital Operations for Miami Valley Hospital. In this role, Amy has responsibility for surgical services, endoscopy, sterile processing and the pain center. She has served in a variety of progressive leadership roles within Premier Health over the last fifteen years including associate chief nursing officer, director of quality innovation and director of nursing/critical care services.

Amy is certified as a Nurse Executive and is also a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. She is a member of the Ohio Organization of Nurse Leaders, the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL) and the American College of Healthcare Executives. She currently is the board secretary for the American College of Healthcare Executives of Greater Ohio (ACHEGO) and has served as chair of the ACHE GO Local Program Council. In addition, she serves as an Academic Volunteer for the Centerville City Schools and an advisor for the Miami Valley Career Technology Center pre-nursing program.

Amy is a graduate of Wright State University with both a Masters in Nursing and an MBA. She has been the recipient of The Dayton Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 award and recently completed a Nurse Executive Fellowship through AONL. In her free time Amy enjoys spending time traveling, hiking and watching sports with her husband Nathan and their son.
