Why are you passionate about improving healthcare outcomes?"Advocating for a child with special needs isn’t light work and is energy consuming. I want to take the pressure off of other parents, guardians, and caregivers by helping them access resources and navigate our complex health systems so they can focus on taking care of their loved ones. I recall the feeling I had to battle the unexpected when it comes to my son’s health. The history of this country does not always equate to equitable treatment for all patients, but for me, it's too much battling and not enough teamwork and focus on the patients of pediatric treatment. I seek to identify and implement changes that will generate healthcare desired patient outcomes."
