How COVID-19 effected our community

Protecting our community members and families has always been and continues to be our #1 priority at Memorial Health.

From day one of the COVID-19 outbreak, our Infection Prevention and Incident Command teams have been monitoring, reviewing, and enhancing all processes to ensure we are doing everything we can to protect our patients, families, caregivers, and staff members. We have expanded our telehealth services, partnered with our local Health Department and EMS personnel, and have received incredible support from our local business partners, including Honda and Scotts Miracle-Gro, as well as numerous other individuals and businesses during this time. As time goes on, we will continue to commit to exceeding the expectations of our patients and families, our team members, and our community.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO AN UP AND COMING HEALTHCARE EXECUTIVE?

"Network, Not Work” I was once taught that at an ACHE event in Houston. Professionals part of the health care industry thrive off their connections and relationships with others. One simple way to accomplish that is to simply join ACHE in your local community and get involved. I was taught early on in my professional career, “It’s not what you know or how much you know, it’s who you know!” this proves to be true time after time. So, stop thinking about it, and Join ACHE!
