Kevin Brooks is the Director of Pharmacy for Miami Valley, Miami Valley North, and Miami Valley South hospitals, which are part of Premier Health (Dayton). In his role, Kevin is responsible for the partnering with nursing and physician staff to ensure the safe use of medications. He is also the system lead for pharmacy regulatory compliance for Premier Health.

In addition, Kevin serves as an Adjunct, Associate Professor at the University of Cincinnati, James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy where he teaches Human Resources in Pharmacy for the Master’s in Pharmacy Leadership program.

Kevin is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and is currently the Chair of the Dayton Local Program Council (LPC). He has previously served as the Chair of the Higher Education Network (HEN).

Outside of ACHE

Kevin is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and the Ohio Society of Health-System Pharmacists (OSHP) in which he is a member of their Membership, Marketing, and Media division.

Education

Kevin received his bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati and his master’s degree in business administration from Xavier University.

In his free time

In his free time, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 children, hiking, traveling, and playing guitar.
